About our Guest Speaker: Our 2024 Guest Speaker CW5 (RET) Douglas Englen has flown over 7000 hours, executed 34 combat tours, and completed over 2,500 combat missions. His position as flight lead on the 2011 Bin Laden raid earned him his second Silver Star and makes him one of the most decorated aviators of the Global War on Terror Generation. The WTVC is so excited to bring him to Jackson to share his stories.

Members of West Tennessee Veterans Coalition and local veteran organizations stand on bridges over I-40 with signs and flags and salute our nation’s veterans.

Salute to Veterans Military Ball

A formal evening honoring our local veterans, guests can expect a sit down meal and to experience the military traditions of a Dining Out complete with Grog Bowl, toasts, limricks, silent auction, and more. This is the primary fundraiser for the Veterans in Crisis Fund.
